5th Grade Science Curriculum
In grade 5, students begin to focus on the underlying scientific principles that explain the natural world. They learn about the different types of cells and how they work, how organisms inherit traits from their parents, and how populations of organisms change over time. They also learn about the different types of energy and how they are transformed, and how the solar system and universe are structured.
